Feast of St Domnius (Sudamja) 2027
Split's own city holiday on 7 May, for the patron saint Diocletian had executed. A procession, a fair along the Riva, free entry to several museums, and the one day of the year the city is entirely about itself.

Split Summer Festival 2027
A month of opera, drama, ballet and concerts staged in the Peristyle, the cathedral and the fortresses. Running since 1954, and watching Aida performed against a Roman colonnade is the best thing in Split in July.
